The Movement Arts Center was a small yoga and pilates studio in the Columbia Street neighborhood of Brooklyn. My client was interested in a soothing peaceful and friendly design for her new schedule and also something that was eyecatching and made her stand out from the competition. The design had to be legible and attractive but also be produced within a tight budget. Splendid Corp. provided a unique schedule using photographs of the students of the studio and emphasing their movement and form as well as using folk art elements that seemed inspiring but not stereo-typicaly "yoga".
Splendid Corp took advantage of the recent explosion of cheap 4-color digital printing and found a printer who could do quality schedules for the right price. Movement Arts center also wanted business cards and we saved money again by thinking of multiple uses for the card. The cards also doubled as a promotional item, by having a refer a friend discount coupon on the back.
