Splendid Corp. is proud to have designed the cover of one of their first releases, A.L.I.E.E.E.N. by Lewis Trondheim. This amazing charming, dark, and beautiful book written in an alien language (created by Trondheim) is supposedly the first alien comic book ever found on planet earth! Splendid Corp. worked with that concept to come up with a cover and interior effect that looks aged and worn as if it was found on the ground.
Splendid Corp. also designed
their debut catalog to announce the birth of this new imprint. We wanted it
to be somewhat of a collectors item, with articles from different voices in
the comics world and art from artists in the First Second roster.
