The Beastie Boys
came to Splendid Corp. in early 2007 looking for a website to go with their
new instrumental album,
The Mix-Up.
Splendid Corp. knew exactly what to do—focus on the amazing collection of vintage gear the Beastie Boys had in their studio to really accentuate the instrumental feel.
This website, which is a combination of traditional band website and a blog, provides a place for the band to write about what's cool to them, and also post details from the road while they are on tour. It involves music and video players and is fully updateable, searchable, and archivable.
Splendid Corp. designed the site, and teamed up with Souljerky who handled the tech side of things to bring this mega blog to life!
